Former Deputy US Marshal William (Bill) Keefer volunteered service at Wounded Knee in 1973, with one of the last armed confrontations between the United States government and the militant portion of Native American tribes. As a Deputy US Marshal there, he helped protect significant cultural artifacts that were in danger of being destroyed during the confrontation.

Ted Hinton 1904-1977 --Ted wrote the book just as he
and the other members agreed the last of them
would do. They wanted to tell the true story,
one that only the six of them knew.
Ted died just a few weeks after finishing the book.
He never got to see the first copy.
Ted had one child, a son J.L (Boots) Hinton.

regards to an incident on April 1, 1934, an
Easter morning. Her husband's Uncle
E.B (Edward Bryan) Wheeler, a Highway
Motorcycle Patrolman, was killed when a
shotgun blast blew him off his cycle.

boxer who was never knocked down in
ninety-three professional fights between 1956 and 1979.
He is often considered to have had the greatest
chin in the history of boxing. In addition to bouts
with Ali, (twice the distance) he has fought Joe
Frazier, George Foreman, to name a few
